The New York Anti Car Theft & Fraud Association (NYACT), the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV) and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) are pleased to announce a two-hour session on November 9, 2023 at the NYS DMV DFI Facility at Queens Village to provide professional training for New York State law enforcement.

National Insurance Crime Bureau and NYS DMV Division of Field Investigation will conduct hands on training for law enforcement on vehicle identification. Attendees will have the opportunity to physically examine multiple stolen retagged vehicles containing counterfeit or reaffixed public VIN’s, Federal Warranty Labels and Anti-theft stickers. Attendees will also hear industry experts talk about key red flags they should look for when conducting Auto Theft Investigations or while conducting patrol.

There is a 50 attendee cap for the session. Please use proper Sentence Case when completing forms. (ie: John Smith NYPD).
